Len za 3 roky sa naučil kresliť portréty, ktoré je ťažké rozoznať od fotografií. Úžasné!

Čiernobiele fotografie majú v sebe zvláštnu atmosféru pokoja a premýšľania nad životom, aký žijeme. Práve to inšpirovalo Dylana Eakina, ktorý podľa sa podľa čiernobielych fotografií učí už tri roky kresliť realistické portréty. Pri svojej práci používa uhlík a na jemnejšie detaily grafitovú ceruzu. Čas od času použije bielu akrylovú farbu na presvetlenie vo forma malých bodiek alebo plôch. Je neuveriteľné, že od roku 2016 spravil takéto výrazné pokroky. Keď sa človek do niečoho s chuťou pustí, dokáže všetko!

Continuing the tour of old drawings, this piece "Exstasis" was the first time I ever spent a whole month on a project. It was my first exposure to mind-numbingly, repetetive details and, for a long time after completing it, I thought of it as something I could never top (and maybe I still sorta feel like that). Ever since this piece I tried to start balancing ambition with self-love. Cuz bubbles are horrible and terrible and I never want to see one again.
